Message From The President

As we continue to expand this chamber, I want to express my sincere gratitude to each one of you for your ongoing support in helping us grow and nurture our community. I was truly honored to take part in the inaugural Summit for Underrepresented Founders, a collaborative initiative co-sponsored by the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest (FCCPNW). I proudly serve as the president of the Filipino Chamber and as Managing Director of Solutions Resource, a boutique software development company dedicated to assisting pre-seed startup founders with their initial MVPs.

This summit goes beyond just gathering of like-minded individuals; it’s an opportunity to connect with inspiring entrepreneurs and investors in our local community. We’re here to shine a spotlight on the remarkable stories and accomplishments of underrepresented individuals in the startup world, spanning diverse backgrounds such as women, Black, Latino, LGBT, Asian, and Native American entrepreneurs.

Our mission at the Filipino Chamber is clear: to empower all underrepresented entrepreneurs and professional for economic success in our region. We do this by organizing and co-sponsoring events like today’s summit, conducting workshops, and running our DigitalBoost Technical Assistance program. Thanks to funding from the WSMA (WA Department of Commerce) we will select 1-3 underrepresented founders from our attendees and provide them with customized technical assistance to propel them to the next level. This summit is a call to action, a joint effort with Ventures Mechanics to break down barriers and foster a more inclusive business environment. I encourage you to actively network, listen, learn, and lend your support to underrepresented groups. Let’s collectively become agents of change, tearing down obstacles and creating opportunities for all founders.
